Budsies.com created dolls that look just like Solly and Benny, two boys in my new storybook, The Knish War on Rivington Street. They'll be going along to all my storytime readings in the coming weeks. I learned about Budsies at the toyportfolio.com, where I review children's products. They sent us a copy of a drawing a child had made and a doll they created from that picture. They can turn one of your child's drawings into a soft doll or make a doll that looks like your family pet. Did you notice, the boys have knishes in their hands? We had a camera ready so we could video the arrival of my Budsies. Meet Solly and Benny!
